It’s always been a big concern for parents to choose a proper school for kids reaching school age. As a matter of fact, the choice of a school is a choice of a teaching mode and also of a direction for the kids’ development.

When choosing a school, I will first consider what kind of education the school can give to the child. I think the most important part of school education is not helping students get high grades but moral education. It’s helping them form the right values, the right outlook on life and the world. Besides, I will consider factors such as safety and faculty resources etc.

现在有些教育模式带给了孩子太多的压力，我希望我的孩子能够在快乐中学习。因此帕丁顿最吸引我的地方还是学校的教育理念——“适合的教育就是比较好的教育”。这与我的想法很契合，学校注重孩子的个性化教育和全方位培养，不同的孩子都可以在这里找到自己的学习乐趣所在。

Nowadays, some of the teaching modes have brought too much pressure on children, but I want my child to learn in happiness. What Paddington attracts me most is its educational philosophy of “The best education is one that suits you” which well matches my opinion. I think a good school needs to focus on students’ personalized education and all-round growth. It’s a place where all types of children can find the joy of studying.

At Paddington, my son has great learning enthusiasm and is very happy. He is willing to learn, chooses by himself to register in club courses and looks forward to the weekly STEAM classes. I think this is a happy state of learning.

What’s also alluring are Paddington’s hardware facilities. The classroom decorations are lively and likeable, leaving a very warm first impression. All rooms have central air conditioning and fresh air systems and the teaching environment is very pleasant. Dennis loves his classroom. Also, the school has many functional classrooms, such as STEAM rooms, taekwondo rooms, dancing rooms, drawing rooms, to name just a few.

These are all good places for children to broaden their horizons, increase their wisdom and develop their interests and hobbies.

另一方面，帕丁顿开设了许多的趣味课程和课外活动，我很支持孩子参与这样的教学活动。例如心理课程的开设，能够帮助成长期的孩子认识自己内心的想法，控制自己的情绪，树立积极乐观的心态。STEAM课程能够开发孩子的创新思维和动手能力，在我看来也是一种“快乐地学习”。

For another, the School sets up lots of fun lessons and extracurricular activities. I’m strongly supportive of these activities as they each have their own benefits. The mental consultation class helps kids at growth stage understand their own thoughts, learn to control their emotions and establish a positive and optimistic attitude. STEAM courses enable kids to develop their innovative thinking and hands-on ability. I think it’s a happy way of learning.

在帕丁顿学习了两个月，Dennis在各方面都有了很大的进步。学习方面，Dennis之前比较抵触英语的学习，但是经过顾老师耐心地指导和鼓励，他已经爱上了英语学习，还开始纠正起了我的英语口语发音。行为习惯方面，之前小孩在幼儿园会比较调皮，现在进入学校以后，班主任杨老师和其它任课老师帮助他进行了调整，现在他的纪律观念已经形成了。希望他在帕丁顿今后的岁月里能够快乐成长，取得更大的进步!

Dennis has made great strides in all aspects after two months spent in Paddington. In terms of studying, he used to resist English learning, but now he’s fallen in love with it after Ms. Gu’s patient guidance and encouragement and even started to correct my pronunciation. In terms of behavior, he was very naughty in Kindergarten but now he has had the sense of discipline with the help of the class head teacher and other teachers. I hope he can grow happily in Paddington and make greater progress!
