2018年1月15日，湖州帕丁顿双语学校开放日再度启动。开放日是家长和孩子了解学校的一个窗口，通过开放日，大家可以对校园的办学设施、师资条件、校园文化等方面进行深入地了解。

On Jan. 15, School Day of Huzhou Paddington Bilingual School kicked off again. It’s a window for parents and kids to get to know the school, and look into the school’s facilities, faculty, and school culture, etc.

虽说深冬的早晨寒风凛凛，但许多家庭已经早早地来到了湖州帕丁顿，看来天气的寒冷阻挡不了大家走近湖州帕丁顿的热情。

来到教学区，湖州帕丁顿的个性化教室设计瞬间吸引了大家的眼球，可以看到：由孩子们自主设计和制作的教室文化墙装扮、智能化的中央空调、新风系统以及智能黑板……

At the teaching area, the novel classroom design grabbed the attention of all. Here, the classrooms feature the culture wall designed, made and decorated by students, the smart central air conditioning , fresh air system and the smart blackboard etc.

招生老师详细地向大家介绍了湖州帕丁顿双语学校内各个建筑的功能——全面创新的一站式上海交大教育园区整合全球的教育资源，凝聚着无数专家学者的智慧结晶。

the Admission Office teachers introduced in detail the functions of all school buildings. The one-stop SJTU education park featuring all-round innovation has integrated global education resources and embodied the wisdom of numerous experts and scholars.

另外大家也参观了学校的功能教室、学生宿舍等区域。

The parents and kids also visited the school’s functional classrooms, student dormitories and other areas.

校园参观之后，孩子们体验了湖州帕丁顿的特色课程。一至三年级的孩子体验Kate老师带来的第二母语课程，四至六年级的孩子体验王老师带来的3D打印机建模课程。

After the school tour, the kids experienced the school’s features courses: the second mother tongue class delivered by Kate to Grade 1-3 students, 3D printing model course delivered by Mr Wang to Grade 4-6 students.

与此同时，与校长团队进行了零距离的沟通和交流。

They also conversed and exchanged ideas directly with the school’s principals.

执行校长钱坤方先生与大家交流了目前许多家庭的“择校难”问题，同时他指出：“湖州帕丁顿双语学校的定位是一所高端的纯民办学校。”而当谈到孩子未来的规划时，他强调 “孩子的未来由家长和孩子共同决定，而出国和考国内大学的双向选择，正是学校的特色之一!”

Executive Principal Mr. Qian Kunfang exchanged his views with parents on the issue of “school selection” faced by many families and pointed out that “Huzhou Paddington Bilingual School is positioned to be a high-end private school.” When coming to the future plan for kids, he stressed “the future of kids should be jointly decided by parents and the children themselves. Here at Paddington, one of our features is that we offer the double choices either attending universities abroad or in China!”

小初部校长为大家全方位地展示了学校的师资力量和招生计划，

Ms. Fu Xia, Principal of the Primary School and Middle School sections gave an overall introduction the school’s faculty and admissions plan to all present,

and she mentioned that “we have a team of teachers with strong professional qualities, excellent teaching skills and noble sentiments.”

With the deepening of communication between potential parents and principals, the presentation was fully livened up and many parents started their conversations with the principals.
