Big News! On Jan. 14, Huzhou Paddington Bilingual School came to Changxing Ocean City and held the New Year Celebration Event at Changxing, bringing our new years’ blessings to those who have always supported and followed us!

迎新嘉年华

长兴站今日的活动现场可谓是客满盈门，参与网络报名的家长们早早赶到了现场;更有不少闻讯而来的家长前来捧场。

Today’s event attracted a huge amount of audience and parents who have registered online arrived early at the venue. There were also parents coming to support us after hearing news about the event.

长兴小伙伴们的热情瞬间引爆了现场的活跃气氛。

Very soon, the atmosphere was fully juiced up by their passion.

本次的活动共分三大活动区，孩子们可以根据自己的兴趣挑选想要参加的活动。

The event consisted of 3 activity areas and kids could choose to participate in activities that they found interesting.

小小无人机

Drones

王老师为长兴的孩子们带来了湖州帕丁顿孩子们最喜爱的STEAM课程。今天的课程主题是小小无人机。

Teacher Wang brought the STEAM courses most loved by Huzhou Paddington students to kids here in Changxing. Today’s course theme was drones.

而王老师结合相关的物理知识，用通俗易懂的语言，为大家诠释了飞行的奥秘。

With easy-to-understand words, Teacher Wang explained the mystery of flying with relevant physical knowledge.

完成了飞行理论的学习，孩子们与爸爸妈妈一起制作一架小飞机，然后比一比谁的飞机飞得更高更远。

After the learning of theories, the kids were told to make their own planes with their parents and compete to see whose plane can fly higher and farther.

Learning English When Building Blocks

我校201班Lucas的爸爸也来到了活动现场，并客串了一次湖州帕丁顿的外教老师。

The father of Lucas from class 201 also came to the event and acted as the English teacher of the school.

他一边搭积木一边学单词的教学方式吸引了不少的孩子加入到了双语学习的体验课堂。

His unique method of teaching English words with building blocks attracted many kids to the bilingual learning class.

嘉年华活动不仅有寓教于乐的体验课程，更有小帕送出的新年贺礼——每个时间整点，小帕都会从签到名单中抽取“幸运星”，快来看看都有什么惊喜大礼吧：智能玩具枪、湖州帕丁顿定制书*、湖州帕丁顿定制商务礼盒、英语学习点读笔。

Besides the fun experience courses, the New Year Celebration has also prepared new year’s gifts for our audience. At every hour on the hour, we drew a name from the check-in list and gave him or her a gift. The gifts included intelligent toy guns, Huzhou Paddington customized school bags, Huzhou Paddington customized business gift boxes, and English learning touch and talk pens.

时间悄悄流逝，伴随着最后一个大礼的送出，湖州帕丁顿双语学校迎新嘉年华活动圆满落幕。小帕相信在不久的将来，会有更多的小朋友来参与湖州帕丁顿双语学校的体验活动中来，感受湖州帕丁顿的特色课堂!

Time passed by quickly and our New Year Celebration was wrapped up as the last gift was given out. We believe that in the near future, there will be more kids involved in our experience activities to try our feature classes!
