清晨，冬日和煦的阳光爬上窗台，校园里洋溢着孩子们的朗朗读书声。

In the early morning, the warm sunshine in winter climbs to the windowsill and the campus is filled with the sound of the children’s reading.

早起的孩子们精神饱满，抑扬顿挫地朗读着古文经典或是英语词汇，听来如同一段美妙的乐曲。

The children are full of energy in the early morning, and read aloud the classical prose or English vocabulary pretentiously, which sounds like a wonderful piece of music.

小帕拾阶而上，来到了201教室。

When you come upstairs, you will come into Room 201.

Sex education has always been closely guarded as a secret in the contemporary education, however, Teacher Yang combines the cartoon animation with easy-to-understand words to make the children know how to protect themselves.

前方传来一阵急切的脚步声，原来是701班的孩子们在纷纷涌向STEAM教室。

A burst of urgent footsteps comes from the front, it turns out that the children in Class 701 are rushing to the STEAM Classroom one by one.

STEAM课程可谓是孩子们最喜爱的课程之一，今天的学习主题是3D打印机的操作。

STEAM is one of the children’s favorite courses and today’s learning theme is the operation of 3D printers.

3D打印机

孩子们需要在使用电脑编程设计出自己想要打印的物体，然后将数据传输到3D打印机，最后再将五彩缤纷的PLA塑料熔丝置人3D打印机内。在等待之后，一个个预先设计好的物体就能够真正呈现在孩子们眼前。

The children are asked to design the objects they want to print with the use of computer programming, then transmit the data to the 3D printer, and finally put the colorful PLA plastic fuses into the 3D printer. After waiting for a while, the pre-designed objects can really show in front of the children one by one.

STEAM课程

STEAM是一门学科融合的课程，从3D打印机的课程就可见一斑，首先是设计计划打印的物体，这需要数学理念(Mathematics)和艺术灵感(Art)的结合,接下来就是3D打印机的安装和操作，则涉及到技术(Technology)和工程(Engineering)，而最后将一根根彩色的塑料熔丝编织成一个立体物的原理，则需要孩子学习更多的科学知识(Science)。

STEAM is a multidisciplinary course, as evidenced by the course of 3D printer. The first step is to design an object that you plan to print, which requires the combination of Mathematicsand Art. The next step is the installation and operation of the 3D printer, which involvesTechnology and Engineering. The final step is the principle of weaving the colored plastic fuses into a three-dimensional object, which requires the children to learn more aboutScience.

STEAM将所有的课程串联在一起，帮助孩子们将知识真正运用于实际操作，激发他们更大的学习兴趣。

STEAM fuses all these subjects together in series, helping the children apply the knowledge to the practical hands-on and stimulate their more interest on study.

结束了一天愉快而充实的学习，走读的孩子们依依不舍的挥别了校园。寄宿的孩子们在温馨的宿舍里甜蜜睡去，又是一个静谧的帕丁顿之夜。

After finishing a happy and fulfilling day’s learning, the homestay students bid farewell to the school reluctantly and the boarding children have a sweet sleep in the warm dormitory. This is a tranquil night in Paddington again.
