心远航公益社自2007年在湖州成立以来，一直以引导青少年心理健康成长，推广母婴知识，培养孩子们的公益精神，扶持孤儿助学和**等爱心项目帮助孩子们的成长。

Since its establishment in Huzhou in 2007, Xinyuanhang Charity Club has always held the spirits of “guiding teenagers in their mental health ，promoting the knowledge about maternal-infant nursing and cultivating public service spirit. All along, it has committed itself to helping kids grow up better by supporting public welfare projects such as scholarships and job opportunities.

胸怀同样的公益梦想和社会责任，8月9日，湖州帕丁顿双语学校携手心远航公益社，为所有孩子精心准备了一场STEAM 沙盘创客盛宴，让孩子们创造一栋栋梦幻中的小屋。

Sharing with the same dream and sense of social responsibility, Huzhou Paddington Bilingual School joined hands with Xinyuanhang on Aug. 9 and carefully prepared a STEAM sand tray feast for kids, allowing them to create their own dreamy house.

通过一段《名侦探柯南》的小短片，刘老师告诉孩子们：人体潜藏着很多的奥秘，同一个人，对于手腕之宽度，脚长，臂长，身高……所有的数据都会产生相对应的数量关系，不得不感叹人体协调之美，人类进化的奥妙无穷。

After watching a clip of Detective Conan, Teacher Liu told the kids that human body was full of secrets. A person’s wrist width, feet length, arm length, height and other measurement values are all closely interrelated. It’s just amazing how the human body is harmoniously structured and the evolution of human beings is utterly marvelous.

孩子们通过手中的小皮尺，在爸爸妈妈的帮助下了解自己身体的各种数据，然后通过自己身体以及测得的各项数据来测量身边的桌椅。这不仅能够让孩子们加强对各种数据的计算能力，还能激发他们的创造意识和设计想法。

With the help from their parents, the kids used a tape rule to measure their body parts. Relying on the values, they measured tables and chairs afterwards. Besides improving their computing skills, this activity also inspired their creativity and design interests.

对于周边环境的舒适程度，孩子们都有不同的感受和了解，刘老师通过有奖问答的形式，加强孩子们的空间感，提升他们的表达能力和思维活跃性。

They gained a new feeling for and understanding on the surrounding environment. Through prize-giving questions, Teacher Liu helped to strengthen kids’ sense of space, enhance their ability of expression and stimulate their active thinking.

接下来进入的是孩子们最喜爱的创作环节，刘老师给孩子们分发剪刀胶水和多色雪糕棒，邀请爸爸妈妈和孩子们搭建一个属于自己的温馨之家。小朋友们需要发挥创造力，把自己的想法准确的告诉爸爸妈妈们，然后开动自己的小手，才能够搭建出既美观又牢靠的小屋。

Then it comes to the kids’ favorite session-the creation . Scissors, glues and multi-color ice cream sticks were handed out while parents were invited to create their own sweet houses with kids. The kids were told to be creative and share their ideas with parents. They needed to use their own little hands to build a beautiful and strong house.

每一个鼓起勇气，上台为大家展示自己作品的孩子都是老师们心中的小勇士!

Every kid that had the courage to present his/her work on stage was a brave hero to the teacher.

寓教于乐的STEAM课程在带给孩子们欢乐的同时，也让他们学到更多的更多的知识。一路学习、一路收获，在潜移默化中，孩子们的学习热情就得到了提升，知识储备得到了扩容。

Combing teaching with games,STEAM courses make kids learn more and have fun at the same time. They learn and gain. Imperceptibly, they will develop more interest in learning and enrich their knowledge bank as nature outcome.
