专业概况

Business administrators as talented at managing numbers as they are at managing people are leaders, strategic thinkers, creative problem solvers and innovators. Accountants specialist number crunchers speak the language of business and are therefore key contributors to a business' success.

This double degree will provide you with sound accounting, business, ethics, management, marketing and strategic skills all key competencies you'll need to succeed in today's dynamic global business environment.

KEY FEATURES

You'll gain essential accounting and reporting knowledge, as well as a range of business-related skills in assurance and audit, commercial law, economics, financial management, information systems and statistics.

You'll have opportunities to get real-world experience with leading Australian organisations through internships.

The professional accounting sequence meets the tertiary education requirements of CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA).

You can complete two degrees with only one additional year of study.

ACCREDITATION

The Bachelor of Commerce - Professional Accounting program of study provides an excellent foundation for a range of accounting-based careers. The professional accounting program is accredited by Certified Practising Accountants (CPA) Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA).

This enables students on completion of the program to apply for Associate Membership (ASA) of CPA Australia, entry to the CAANZ Charted Accountant (CA) Program (provided the work related criterion is met) and Associate Membership (ANIA) of the IPA.
