在这里学什么？ Discover how zoology can be applied to the key challenges affecting our planet today, from the effects of global warming on animal life, to the ecological impact of populations and animals, and the survival of endangered species.Your degree will be ideal preparation for a broad variety of careers including laboratory or field-based research, jobs in conservation and animal managements.You'll explore the full variety of animal life giving you advanced knowledge of the specialist field of zoology.Our expertise stretches from evolution and behaviour to gene regulation, neuroscience and development in a variety of animals.Our unique link with world-renowned conservation charity – Marwell Wildlife, located only a few miles from our campus in Southampton, provides an opportunity to develop specific interests and expertise in zoology. You have the opportunity to carry out your final-year research project in collaboration with Marwell or a number of other organisations in the UK or abroad. You will be taught by our expert lecturers and can also benefit from gaining extensive practical experience from a variety of field trips on offer in the UK, Spain and Belize.所属院系

为来自中国的学生设计 To be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need: First year of a relevant degree from a high ranked Chinese university, with an average grade of at least 70-80% . National Senior High School Certificate (three years), achieving an overall Grade B (80%) with minimum B (80%) in subjects relevant to the chosen undergraduate course. Students completing two years of Senior High School should have achieved 85%, National Senior High School Certificate (for both two and three years), achieving an overall 85% with 85% in maths and physics. National Senior High School Certificate (three years) achieving 80% overall, with 80% in both biology and chemistry. Students completing two years should achieve 85% overall with 855 in biology and chemistry. IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in all components.课程信息
