在这里学什么？ This distinctive degree for non-native English speakers is taught by outstanding academics in the disciplines of English and modern languages. It fits naturally between the two disciplines and will appeal to anyone fascinated by the English language and its usage in historic, colonial and contemporary literature. Content includes: introduction to the English language in its global context; critical theory; elements of linguistics – sound, structure and meaning.For entry to our courses for non-native English speakers, we consider applications from those with strong grades in high school qualifications: typically a GPA of 3.0 or percentage grades of 80 per cent.Our year abroad courses give undergraduates the opportunity to study for an additional academic year at a university in another part of the world. 为来自中国的学生设计 To be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need: First year of a relevant degree from a high ranked Chinese university, with an average grade of at least 70-80% . National Senior High School Certificate (three years), achieving an overall Grade B (80%) with minimum B (80%) in subjects relevant to the chosen undergraduate course. Students completing two years of Senior High School should have achieved 85%, National Senior High School Certificate (for both two and three years), achieving an overall 85% with 85% in maths and physics. National Senior High School Certificate (three years) achieving 80% overall, with 80% in both biology and chemistry. Students completing two years should achieve 85% overall with 855 in biology and chemistry. IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in all components.课程信息
