专业概况
在这里学什么？ Southampton’s MChem Chemistry with Medicinal Sciences programme is aimed at people who have a passion for chemistry and want to take a second subject – medicinal sciences – to a very high level. You’ll study topics such as pharmacology, physiology and biochemistry.This degree includes six months of industrial experience or a research placement at an overseas university. You will also undertake a research project at Southampton. You’ll be able to complete your practical work in outstanding teaching laboratories. Following a recent multimillion-pound investment in our facilities, you’ll have access to state-of-the-art equipment and gain an excellent practical training. You’ll be able to use NMR and IR spectrometers and X-Ray diffraction facilities to analyse your own samples in the laboratories.The degree will provide you with a sound basis for further study or a successful career as a professional chemist in areas such as pharmaceuticals, biological chemistry and life sciences.所属院系

为来自中国的学生设计 To be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need: First year of a relevant degree from a high ranked Chinese university, with an average grade of at least 70-80% . National Senior High School Certificate (three years), achieving an overall Grade B (80%) with minimum B (80%) in subjects relevant to the chosen undergraduate course. Students completing two years of Senior High School should have achieved 85%, National Senior High School Certificate (for both two and three years), achieving an overall 85% with 85% in maths and physics. National Senior High School Certificate (three years) achieving 80% overall, with 80% in both biology and chemistry. Students completing two years should achieve 85% overall with 855 in biology and chemistry. IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in all components.课程信息
