在这里学什么？ The three-year BSc Chemistry degree will provide you with a sound background and practical training in all aspects of chemistry, and develop your understanding of its impact on modern society. Taught by leading academics at the forefront of chemistry research, you will get the opportunity to develop your knowledge of a variety of different chemistry applications such as computational chemistry, nuclear magnetic resonance and drug discovery. You will conduct an independent research project or advanced practicals and you may choose to study topics outside chemistry, for example in mathematics, physics or biology. Whether you want to stay in chemistry research, take up a role in industry or go into something completely different, you can shape your degree to your career aspirations.You’ll be able to complete your practical work in outstanding teaching laboratories. Following a recent multi million-pound investment in our facilities, you’ll have access to state-of-the-art equipment and gain an excellent practical training. You’ll be able to use NMR and IR spectrometers and X-Ray diffraction facilities to analyse your own samples in the laboratories.This course is accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) increasing the employability and enhancing the CVs of our graduates.所属院系

为来自中国的学生设计 To be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need: First year of a relevant degree from a high ranked Chinese university, with an average grade of at least 70-80% . National Senior High School Certificate (three years), achieving an overall Grade B (80%) with minimum B (80%) in subjects relevant to the chosen undergraduate course. Students completing two years of Senior High School should have achieved 85%, National Senior High School Certificate (for both two and three years), achieving an overall 85% with 85% in maths and physics. National Senior High School Certificate (three years) achieving 80% overall, with 80% in both biology and chemistry. Students completing two years should achieve 85% overall with 855 in biology and chemistry. IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in all components.课程信息
