专业概况

在这里学什么？

The M.S. in Physical Science is designed for in-service teachers at the secondary education level. Students will gain a variety of coursework and laboratory experience that can serve as preparation for either further academic studies or as preparation for an applied career in industry. The program will be individually tailored upon consultation with an academic advisor.

The program is designed to:

Provide a breadth of scientific knowledge across the disciplines Emphasize scientific literacy and professional communication Provide a solid foundation of experimental and laboratory work Allow students to individually tailor the focus to their personal strengths

This is a designated STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) program.

Degree Requirements: 32-35 hours

Required Courses: 27 hours

Note -

u200bu200bPHY 520 may be waived with teaching experience.

Elective Courses: 5-8 hours
