The online Master of Science in Human Nutrition provides an in-depth study of nutrition based on sound and current scientific evidence. This degree does not lead to the RD credential.

Career Opportunities

This degree can enhance your current degree and provide opportunities in health care, business, education, and the field of human performance. If you are a registered dietitian, this degree allows you to obtain Continuing Professional Education toward maintaining your credential.

Degree Requirements: 30-36 hours

A total of 30-36 credit hours are required to complete the program. Total credits are dependent upon the individualized program of study. A minimum of 30 credits are required for the thesis option and a minimum of 36 credits are required for the research project or research writing option. If there are prerequisite deficiencies in your undergraduate degree or if a course needs to be repeated, additional credit hours may be required.
