专业概况
在这里学什么？ This degree offers you a unique opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of economic theory and methods in data science. You’ll gain the skills and knowledge to pursue a career in economics or finance. The programme will provide you with classical training in economic theory and its application. Additionally, you will be taught key skills and methods in data science, such as how to analysis large data sets and use algorithmic or machine learning. You'll learn how to use our Bloomberg Trading Suite in your first year, and have the chance to gain a Bloomberg Markets Concepts qualification. You will also use our experimental laboratory to put basic economic concepts into practice. As part of this course you can also:• take part in a 2-week economics summer school at Xiamen University, China• spend a semester abroad in your third year• spend a year in employment• gain vital work experience on Santander’s Student Innovation ProjectsYou'll graduate with the skills and knowledge to pursue a career in finance or economics. 为来自中国的学生设计 To be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need: First year of a relevant degree from a high ranked Chinese university, with an average grade of at least 70-80% . National Senior High School Certificate (three years), achieving an overall Grade B (80%) with minimum B (80%) in subjects relevant to the chosen undergraduate course. Students completing two years of Senior High School should have achieved 85%, National Senior High School Certificate (for both two and three years), achieving an overall 85% with 85% in maths and physics. National Senior High School Certificate (three years) achieving 80% overall, with 80% in both biology and chemistry. Students completing two years should achieve 85% overall with 855 in biology and chemistry. IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in all components.课程信息
