专业概况
在这里学什么？ Develop your understanding of how economic decisions affect us as individuals and society as a whole. This course combines studying economics with analysing financial markets and institutions. You'll gain the skills and knowledge to pursue a career in finance or economics.• You'll learn how to use our Bloomberg Trading Suite in your first year, and have the chance to gain a Bloomberg Markets Concepts qualification.You can also choose modules from the Economics department, Business School or from other departments across the University. You could take modules in portfolio theory, the principles of finance or empirical finance. Or you could learn how cognitive bias affects financial decision-making by taking the optional 'Economics with Experiments' course.You could also: • Take part in a 2 week summer school in China• Spend a semester abroad• Spend a year in employment• Gain vital work experience on IBM's Business Innovation Programme所属院系

为来自中国的学生设计 To be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need: First year of a relevant degree from a high ranked Chinese university, with an average grade of at least 70-80% . National Senior High School Certificate (three years), achieving an overall Grade B (80%) with minimum B (80%) in subjects relevant to the chosen undergraduate course. Students completing two years of Senior High School should have achieved 85%, National Senior High School Certificate (for both two and three years), achieving an overall 85% with 85% in maths and physics. National Senior High School Certificate (three years) achieving 80% overall, with 80% in both biology and chemistry. Students completing two years should achieve 85% overall with 855 in biology and chemistry. IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in all components.课程信息
