The Master’s Program in Curriculum & Instruction - Social Studies/Social Education focuses on “powerful” teaching and learning of knowledge, skills, and attitudes. It emphasizes education that is meaningful, integrated, challenging, value-based, and active. It also suggests a broader perspective that incorporates knowledge, skills, and dispositions that facilitate active citizenship and global perspectives. Additionally, Social Education includes:

English Language Proficiency Requirements: TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) - The minimum TOEFL score required is 79 for the internet-based test. The minimum TOEFL score for the new revised paper-based exam is: Reading 20, Listening 20, and Writing 20. IELTS (International English Language Testing Service): The minimum IELTS score required is an overall score of a 6.5.
