Students who major in biology must meet the general degree requirements in addition to the special requirements for a Bachelor of Arts.

Students who major in biology may not double major, double degree, or minor in biochemical and biophysical sciences.

Mathematics:

MATH 1431 - Calculus I Credit Hours: 4.0 MATH 1432 - Calculus II Credit Hours: 4.0

MATH 2433 - Calculus III Credit Hours: 4.0 or MATH 3338 - Probability Credit Hours: 3.0 or MATH 3339 - Statistics for the Sciences Credit Hours: 3.0

Physics:

BIOL 3301 - Genetics Credit Hours: 3.0 BIOL 3306 - Evolutionary Biology Credit Hours: 3.0 BIOL 4103 - Integration of Biological Knowledge Credit Hours: 1.0 BIOL 4374 - Cell Biology Credit Hours: 3.0 BCHS 3304 - General Biochemistry I Credit Hours: 3.0
