专业概况

在这里学什么？ Economics is concerned with how people make choices in conditions of resource scarcity and the results of these choices for society. Many of the world's most pressing issues such as global warming/climate change, underdevelopment, rising inequality, inflation and financial instability are economic in nature. In understanding these problems, economists make use of a wide variety of analytical techniques borrowed from numerous other fields including history, philosophy, mathematics and statistics.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students will also study following qualifications: University Entrance Examinaton (Gaokao); GCE A-Levels; International Foundation Programme; Senior High School Certificate (Gau Hui); Foundation Programme; International Baccalaureate; GCSE or relevant equivalent. Minimum English Langauge requirements - 6.0 with minimum of 5.5 in all four elements of the test. Please refer the university website for details of the English Language requirements for entry to individual undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes.
