The Bachelor of Science in Statistics prepares students to meet the surging demand for statisticians in today’s data-intensive world. Students can apply their analytical skills to solve real-world problems in nearly any area about which they are passionate. Choices include business, science, engineering, technology, healthcare, environment, and sports. These are just a few of the many possibilities. There has never been a better time to study statistics.

Learn

Students gain knowledge in probability theory, statistical methods and modeling, computation, and statistical applications to prepare for a career as an applied statistician or to go on to graduate school.

Opportunities

There are excellent opportunities for a person with a degree in Statistics. Government agencies, business, industry, universities and research labs continually look for talented individuals with this type of degree. Since job opportunities are greater for those with advanced statistical training, many undergraduates proceed directly to graduate work in statistics.
