上海新虹桥中学中加国际班2017年三月份的交换生项目刚刚结束，我们收到了来自加拿大参加本次交换生项目学生家长的感谢信，心里美滋滋的，所以来跟大家分享一下：

Just want to say that when we presented Colin with the idea of going to China he was not interested at all, he is quite shy and not confident in being away from family for 2 weeks. We convinced him it would be a life experience he wouldn’t forget and he would make new friends and see places that would be amazing. The trip exceeded our and his expectations. He is so happy he went , he loved his host family and all the kids he met during this exchange. They made him feel so welcome and even had a great 16th birthday party for him while he was in Shanghai. He learned to try new foods and became comfortable using chopsticks. He saw and learned so much while he was in China. We are so happy for him, he came home with a new confidence in himself that will last a lifetime, and I’m sure he will keep us with his new friends.

一开始我们想让Colin去参与中国的交换生项目，当时他并不太感兴趣，因为他比较胆小害羞，对于自己要离开家外出两周不太有信心。但是我们说服他这将是一次永生难忘的经历，他将会结交新的朋友，见识新的世界，这些经历都是非常神奇的。真的，这次旅行真的超出了我们和学生的期望。他在这次交换经历中对于去到的地方都很开心，他很喜欢中国的住家以及认识的其他学生。这些都让他感觉自己很有归属感及受欢迎，甚至在上海住家及学生帮他开办盛大的16岁生日派对。他尝试着品尝新的食物，并且能很熟练的使用筷子。他在中国见识了很多，学习到了很多。我们都为他很开心，他回来国内之后又变得非常自信，我们也相信这些都会伴随他一生，我们也确信他会和他的新朋友继续保持。感谢这次的中国之行。
