The Master of Science (Sc.M.) degree for those who wish to improve their professional competence in computer science or to prepare for further graduate study.

Computer Science Department has continuously produced prominent contributors in the field. Computer Science combines the intellectual challenge of a new discipline with the excitement of an innovative and rapidly expanding technology. The department resides in Brown’s Center for Information Technology; this striking building houses many of the university’s computing activities, as well as the department’s instructional computing facilities and research labs. Faculty, staff and students are provided state-of-the-art computing facilities.
