专业概况

在这里学什么？

The Italian studies undergraduate program examines Italian and Italian-American literature, culture, society, and history. Courses offered provide a historical perspective from the middle Ages to the present. Students explore a variety of themes ranging from nation-building and national identity to emigration and travel, to gender relations and feminist discourses, to the study of different narrative forms and representations of Italian and Italian-American culture. Students are encouraged to take courses in other departments when these are related to Italian and Italian-American culture.
