In today’s global environment, language study and cultural competency are critical for a successful career. At UD, the Department of Languages Literatures and Cultures has worked with the Department of Linguistics and Cognitive Science and offers a stimulating interdisciplinary program. The program offers French courses in which a proficiency-oriented communicative approach helps students develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, with an emphasis on sociocultural knowledge that enables students to interact confidently and effectively within the target culture.
