专业概况
在这里学什么？This program is for lawyers who earned their degree outside of the United States. It is a general course in which student, with their faculty, advisor, select courses that meet their personal or professional goals, such as taking a bar examination. Students can focus their students on a specific area of the law or pursue a more general course of study. Students in the program have included recent law school graduates and practitioners with varying years of experience.
Requirements
Successfully complete a minimum of 24 credit hours of approved coursework.
Within 24 credits, meet the required grade point average and successfully complete the required number of concentration-specific credits.
Complete all program requirements within three years of admission and be continuously enrolled every fall and spring semester for a minimum of three credits.
Courses previously completed in a student’s J.D. (or first law degree) program cannot be credited toward meeting the LL.M. requirement.
All students who earned their law degree outside of the United States are required to take two courses their first semester; Introduction to American Law (5319) and Lawyering Skills and Strategies (5314). Both courses are counted toward meeting the 24-credit program requirement.

English Language Proficiency Requirements: TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) - The minimum TOEFL score required is 79 for the internet-based test. The minimum TOEFL score for the new revised paper-based exam is: Reading 20, Listening 20, and Writing 20.
