This conversion course is delivered by the Business School, which has AACSB accreditation in recognition of our focus on excellence in all areas. It’s something that fewer than 5% of business schools worldwide have achieved, so you can be sure you’re in good hands.

It's the ideal choice for graduates who want to change subjects or career direction. It's been developed with two key features in mind - the development of strong economic and finance skills, and the ability to apply them into practice.

Modern business increasingly requires the ability to understand these issues in a global context, so you can rest assured that this course also addresses key developments in global markets, as well as international trade, finance, and exchange rates.

It will enable you to develop key technical, analytical and decision-making skills, and also help develop the personal skills you need to succeed in any career: effective teamwork, objective analysis persuasion and negotiation and communication skills.

There's an option to undertake a 30-week work placement with a finance employer as part of the course, which may particularly appeal if you are changing disciplines or career focus. The placement will help increase your employability even further. You can opt to take your placement in the UK or overseas, and in fact many large financial firms are located within Bournemouth.
