在这里学什么？ This cutting-edge course is delivered within the NCCA (National Centre for Computer Animation), which is one of the most established and highly regarded centres for animation in the country. The NCCA is well placed to introduce this new BSc (Hons) Virtual Augmented Reality course based on its strong research expertise in the computer graphics and animation field, as well as its longstanding reputation of outstanding education in the area of computer graphics with applications to computer animation, games and VFX over the past 3 decades. Virtual and Augmented Reality is emerging technology which allows the creation of virtual immersive or augmented environments with applications in medicine, architecture, archaeology/heritage, e-commerce, education, training, and the visual arts. This course will focus on providing you with a deep level of understanding and the critical skills necessary for you to develop new and existing practical applications in Virtual and Augmented Reality applications, such as in Medical, Engineering and Entertainment settings. Moreover you will use industry-standard software and hardware tools through accessing the latest commercial peripherals, such as the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, electroencephalograms (brainwave interfaces), heart monitor and facial recognition systems commonly used in VR/AR research and production.Ultimately the course will foster you with the unique skillset required to pursue various roles in (in industries that utilise) the virtual/augmented reality and immersive technology industries, such as VR/AR developers, computer vision architects/engineers, unity/unreal engine developers, VR/AR/MR designers etc.所属院系
