Overview

Do you want to be able to speak “the language of business” and understand financial decision making and financial institutions? Do you want to be taught and supervised by leading academics whilst gaining exemptions from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) professional examinations?

Accounting is the process of summarising, analysing and reporting financial transactions to permit informed judgements and decisions by users of the information.

Finance looks at how company managers and investors make financial decisions, how they manage their risk and how financial markets function.

The MSc in Accounting and Finance provides students with an understanding of both the theoretical framework and practical skills necessary to work in the global financial environment.

This Masters programme provides the basis for both profession- and research-orientated careers, as well as skills and knowledge required to progress into management careers in the accounting and financial services. 为来自中国的学生设计 Entry to graduate diploma or taught masters programmes usually requires either a UK upper second-class (2:1) or a lower second-class (2:2) undergraduate degree. For most courses, your major subject or content of your Bachelor degree may also be considered. Please check our Course Finder for specific entry requirements. Applicants from China should hold a good four-year bachelor degree from a recognised, well ranked university with an average grade of at least 70-85%. Minimum English Langauge requirements - 6.0 with minimum of 5.5 in all four elements of the test. Please refer the university website for details of the English Language requirements for entry to individual undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes.
