Pre-School to Pre Kindergarten 幼儿园小班到中班

(3-6 years of age) 3岁-6岁

These are developmental years of a child’s learning where learning experiences integrate socio-emotional, physical and cognitive development. Children are active in the learning process which lays a solid foundation for future learning. Teachers design stimulating and appropriate experiences to develop the young child’s brain. They create dynamic environments that promote play, discovery and exploration. Teacher supports children to explore their environment and learn about their world through play and relationships with peers, teachers, family and community members. Pre-School and Pre-Kinder cover four units of inquiry throughout the year, and Kindergarten covers 6 units.

这是一个孩子学习的发展期，孩子将社会情感、身体和认知发展结合在一起。孩子们在学习过程中积极参与、思考问题，为将来的学习打下了坚实的基础。教师们结合以往教学经验，通过设计课程来开发幼儿智力发育，通过生动的学习环境、趣味游戏、探索发现培养孩子们对学习的好奇心。教师支持孩子们通过游戏、与同学的互动、老师的教导、家庭和社区成员的关系来探索他们的环境，了解他们的世界。幼儿小班至中班的学生在一学年将学习到四个单元。
